Method
Making the Mousse
- Place avocado flesh in a food processor or high-speed blender.
- Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy
- Scrape down sides as needed
- Taste and adjust sweetness or cocoa intensity
- Spoon mousse into 8 small serving cups or ramekins.
Chilling and Serving
- Cover cups with plastic wrap. If you don’t want a skin to form on top the mousse, lay
- the plastic wrap directly on top the mousse.
- Chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour.
- Just before serving, sprinkle with desired toppings.
